Welcome back friends to PrimeTech 18. Today I come with a new topic in which we deal with speaking
anxiety.
So, what do we mean
about anxiety, just in case you don’t know about it. What I mean is have you
ever gotten nervous before talking to someone in English or any language. May
be you have a presentation to give and right before the presentation your hands
all get wet, your hearts starts to beat fast, some people starts to shack.
Speaking anxiety is not a fun thing to go through. And people get it for
meeting and even when they go to party or with friends some people get nervous
specially, when they have to speaking in other than their own language. How do
I deal with speaking anxiety or how can I become more confident speaker. So,
today I am going to talk about that and give you some good tips to deal with
it. And these tips are tested. So, look at some these tips:
1)
Breathe:
When you are nervous it’s very
important to breathe deeply because it’s calms your heart. Scientists have
proven that by breathing you calm yourself down. And you relax yourself.
2)
Walk: If you
have time before you have to speaking take a short walk. It’s also calms you
down and help you not to panic.
3)
Practise:
If you practise the same expression
again and again, you don’t have to think about them anymore they just come
straight out of your mouth. And this is what you want to do with speaking.
Learn key expressions and when someone asks your opinion it will just come out
automatically, you don’t have to think about it even if you are nervous or
panic.
4)
Don’t
think to become perfect: As many of you
think that native speakers are perfect in speaking their language and you want
to speak like them. But it’s not native speakers do make mistakes almost all
the time like grammar mistakes. It’s normal to make mistakes and people don’t
judge you harshly on your mistakes. So, don’t be afraid of making mistakes
while speaking. Actually the best way to learn a language it to make mistakes.
5)
Use
Mantras: These
are the things you say to yourself in your head usually a positive message. For
instance, “I am good English speaker”. Scientists have proven that when think
that your English speaking is horrible, then you are not speak fluently but if
you think that you are a good speaker then that’s help you in speaking
fluently.
So,
these are the some common tips for dealing with speaking anxiety. Finally, I
would say that if you practise and practise, this will give confident and you
can deal with speaking anxiety more efficiently. Now this is wraps for today. I
will be back soon with a new topic.
And
if you want know the reasons why you English is not improving.
Have
a good day friends.
Good
